I have a 5G-30GB video ipod - this battery pack works exactly as advertised. I have only used it a couple times, so I can’t vouch for the exact amount of extra time, but it worked flawlessly on a 15 hour trip to Italy from the states. It wasn’t in use the whole time, but there was never an issue of running out of battery power. It also fits well with the ipod, and doesn’t excessively bulk it up - it easily fits in the little generic carrying case I use to store my ipod, charging cord, earphones, etc. I recommend this without any reservations.
