JBuds
The earphones do sound louder than others I’ve had obviously because they go inside your ears. Its really a matter of your comfort level I found at times that my ears will be a little sore especially if you put them on in a rush and press to hard. Other than that they perform as advertised.

I’ve been using these in-ear buds (smallest foam cover) for just about a month and am very happy with them. I have very small ears and have had problems in the past with using regular ear buds which had a tendency to pop out of my ears and the over-ear plugs that cause me pain after short-term use.

I don’t have an i-pod or mp3 player, I use the buds with my cd player (mini boom box) at work and find that they effectively block out the miscellaneous noise in my office and provide excellent sound quality compared to the ear buds I’ve used in the past.

Although I was a little dismayed to read a few recent reviews about the relatively short length of time the ear buds worked, mine are working just fine and given my needs and use of the ear buds, I’d highly recommend them but would offer a word of caution to people who use their ear buds more heavily than I do.
