Athena iVoice Direct Radiating Dock & Sound System for iPod 5
Wow!!! Sound that truly comes close to that of high end equiptment that costs three to four times as much as this. Totally impressed with the quality of this product in every way. I actually purchased based on the glowing reviews on Amazon by other customers. They were right on target with this one. Highly recommend.

Great product, Highly recommend4
After reading reviews for all of these iPod speakers I bought this product with a good level of confidence that it would work for my needs. I am not disappointed. The unit is much sturdier than it looks and it looks great too. Sound quality is superb, even at higher volumes. The unit itself is very portable in the sense that you can take it to a friends house or to a cabin or whatever and have a speaker system set up. It does need to be plugged in however. The remote is pretty cheap but does the job, and as other reviewers have pointed out you do have to point it to the base of the unit to have it respond, but that’s not that big of a deal. The remote’s range is a little limited as well, but again its not a deal breaker. Oh and it charges your ipod (huge plus in my opinion, I hate having to charge the dang thing). If you want to save some bucks buy a used one without the remote. The remote is nice, but you can save like $40 by just walking up to the unit and changing the song or volume with the iPod. All that being said, I would definity recommend this to anyone looking for a quality iPod speaker.
