Manufacturer: Anycom
Product Description:
ANYCOM FIPO is a revolutionary Bluetooth device allowing any Bluetooth mobile phone or other device with Bluetooth A2DP compatibility to stream audio to other products intended for use with an Apple iPod.Today many cars offer a dock connector that links the iPod to the audio system. Through ANYCOM FIPO any mobile phone with suitable Bluetooth capabilities can be connected wirelessly instead of the Apple iPod as an audio source. ANYCOM FIPO also enables iPod docking accessories like HiFi stations or iPod speakers to receive audio streams from any Bluetooth source like mobile phones, MP3 players, PDAs or PCs.Unlike FM transmitters that sometimes have poor sound quality because of the analog communication, ANYCOM FIPO uses the Bluetooth A2DP profile and streams audio in crystal clear, digital quality to the receiving unit like a car stereo or a sound dock.If remote control commands like stop, pause, play, next or previous title can be executed from the steering wheel of a car to the iPod, the same functionality is provided through the ANYCOM FIPO adapter to the connected Bluetooth device (AVRCP profile). To install, simply plug ANYCOM FIPO into the connector designated for an Apple iPod, and it will begin automatically its search for new or paired devices, no key needs to be pressed or software to be installed.

Nifty little gadget
First of all, the size is NOT 7 X 6 X 3. It is the whole damned box that is that size. The actual gadget is tiny 0.25" X 1" X 1.5" approximately.

I was able to pair with it my KRZR K1 and stream music to a set of iPod
compatible speakers. My first attemp to pair failed but the second one worked.

Combine this gadget with an iPod FM transmitter like Sonnet's PodFreq [...]and you got yourself a bluetooth to FM converter which would allow you to stream your MP3s from your bluetooth phone to your car radio system using A2DP. And you feel like the guy next to you in traffic is listening to his crap too loudly, go ahead and override his station with your own "channel", hehehe.

Now for the problems, it is tiny, smooth, and has no hooks or holes of any kind, which means you very likely to lose it very quickly. It would fall out of your pocket and you would not even hear it unless there is a hard surface. BAD design, it needs a loop/hole to hook it up to a key chain or something like that.
