The RSS and Flickr Feeds do not work properly, the support people are HORRIBLE!
This product is not ready for primetime, and the outsourced support that Kodak has hired is completely un-knowledgeable in the product. After an hour on support help desk, and telling 3 different support people the same information, they told me they didn't understand the problem. ID# 13090 was her name, and she doesn't know what flickr is, and that it even works with their product. Basically I bought this frame to stream flickr photos to the unit; however, after trying different methods, it will do the following... not randomize the streaming photos, so you always see them in the same order. If you use the RSS flickr feed, it will only stream 15-20 of the RSS tagged photos, even though I tagged over 500, again in the same order, not shuffled. The software is wonky at best, and the touch screen is less than responsive. I have been waiting for a product to give to grandma so she doesn't have to touch it, and will get photos; however, i will need to keep waiting. By the way this unit also fell of the wifi secured network more the once, and needed to be reconfigured, despite an excellent signal. I will NEVER buy a kodak product again, they should have stuck to film cameras.

The first time I've returned anything in as long as I can remember....
This frame is awful--I am returning it. The picture quality is poor and the 16:9 aspect ratio makes all of the pictures seem even smaller than the already small screen. I recently purchased the 9" Phillips digital picture frame, and yes it's twice as expensive...but I actually like to look at pictures on it.

Great for the office desk!
In the age of digital cameras, digital photo frames are the logical next step. Why be restricted to displaying a single picture? In truth, I am a little surprised it took this long for them to get onto the market! Even so, it has taken while for them to get up to speed on functionality/affordability. With the "Kodak EasyShare P720 Digital Picture Frame" they have finally arrived.

Easy, absolutely no-fuss and with no need to be technical savvy, this digital picture frame is totally cool. Just pop the memory card out of your camera and pop it into the frame and you can watch your pictures unfold. There are some bonus features on the frame, all of which are accessed by a simple touch mechanism around the boarder, which means you don't have to dirty up the screen by constant pressing. Most of the features involve length of time between pictures and how they will transition.

The screen itself isn't too big, and kind of disappears in the home but is just perfect for a desk at work. Almost everyone keeps a few pictures of their family at the office, and the range of pictures available on this digital photo frame is all the better. It also means that you can easily change the photos just by bringing in a new memory chip. When work gets tough you can look at your latest vacation photos and drift away into good memories!

The frame does not include a memory chip, so isn't complete right out of the box. Obviously, all digital cameras will have a memory chip but if you use that then you won't be able to take more pictures! I like the USB drive option, which will not only hold more photos but makes it really easy to change out your selection. In fact, if you were going to give the EasyShare frame as a give, I would recommend packaging it with a USB flash drive like the Kingston 8GB DataTraveler USB flash drive - High Speed USB, maybe already loaded up with some photographs.

Video clips not filling the screen - solution available
If, like me, you want your video clips to fill the entire screen of this frame (like it does with stll photos), rather than add in the black vertical borders, please feel free to email me for a solution at [...]. I've spent many hours trying to find a solution for this (Kodak were no help by the way!) and now that I've found one I thought it fair to share it. I will edit this post with step-by-step instructions when I have time to type them.

Overall, great frame, really cant complain about anything. The iPhone-style finger-swiping to flick between pictures using the touch screen is very cool! Highly recommended prodct, shame about Kodak's rubbish customer service.

Wireless support requires firewall to be disabled
I've been looking forward to getting a wireless photo frame so that I could stream photos from my computer (in another room) without having to mess with USB cables and memory cards. I was happy to pay extra for such a feature.

However, after battling to get this wireless photo frame connected to my computer I engaged Kodak support. They informed me that:

"Actually, for applications like our digital frame, the firewall must be disabled for it to work properly."

After explaining how this opens my computer up to considerable risk the response was:

"I understand. Disabling your firewall would be my best suggestion for this. I'm sorry for the inconvinience."

This is totally unacceptable. With such a high risk of virus infection, worm attacks, and identity theft these days, disabling the firewall to stream photos to a photo frame is a ridiculous ask. I hope that Kodak get their act together and fix this issue quickly as right now I have an expensive piece of junk.

Great headphones
I was pleasantly surprised when I received these headphones. These are quite possibly the best headphones you can get for the price. They have great bass and provide overall great quality for music, movies and games. They may hurt your ears for a while at first if you've got big ears, but you'll get used to them in time. If you're looking for a pair of good headphones and are on a budget, these are just for you!

Mine have lasted at least four years now...
I haven't even had to replace the ear pads yet. I already know I'll be buying another pair when--if--they wear out.

Good Value for the Price
I recently ordered these headphones via Amazon.com and I'm really happy with the purchase. The clarity of sound, as well as the low end frequency response are perfect for use with my iPod. I can't use the ear buds (don't stay in my ear) and most quality over the ear headphones are costly, but the Sennheisers are comfortable and provide the richness I expect in higher priced headphones. They are a great value and the ordering process with Amazon was easy and painless.

The Best Headphones for a great buy!
I love this item, I'm currently using it at my job as I write this review. I can't seem to shake the fact that the bass on this item is wonderful. I listen to many genres and on each song that I listen to, projects the best of each genre of song. Or when I'm watching a movie online, I can hear every little detail as if I'm apart of the movie, which is fascinating! Anybody that buys these headphones are truly in for a treat and a 1/2!

Decent product
Considering the price, you couldn't go wrong with these headphones. Sure, there are nicer and more expensive units out there, but I bought these to keep my ears warm during outside walks in the fall and wintertime, and they definitely work for that. I can't imagine using these in warmer temperatures, as they stay toasty. I have larger ears and a size 7-7/8 nug, and they fit comfortably. The sound is definitely richer than my Apple earbuds, but I have little other headphone experience other than that. Again, _for the price_, if you need an over-the-ear set, these will be hard to beat.

Sound Great, Look Dorky
I was originally shopping for phones for a friend to use on a long flight, so since comfort was important, I settled on circumaural earphones (phones with earpads that completely enclose the ear rather than sit on top of them). These got great reviews on audiophile web sites, so I checked them out in person at the local audio emporium. I'm not an audiophile at all, but have a decent ear and was quite pleased in comparison to much more expensive sets. Unfortunately, though, I couldn't get a good sense of how they would sound with my music because the audio store only gave me a choice between some really crappy club music or some sonically lean Bob Dylan.

Anyway, now having checked them out with my own music library, I'm very happy with the sound. Since I live alone and am not a PC gamer, I never gave much thought to using headphones with my PC, but now listening to the great sound, I'm a convert. I'd like to use them with my mp3 player as well, so I wish they had a better-looking design. If Sennheiser had left the silver off the earcups and narrowed the headband a bit those minor modifications alone would have made a huge improvement in the looks. But these sound so good for the price, I'll live with occasionally looking a little dorky out in public.

EDIT: Uh, no - I just looked at myself in the mirror with these on, and they're just too big and ridiculous-looking to wear outside. On a bus, trip or plane ride, yes, but walking around town, no way. Pity. It'll be hard to go back to earbuds after these, regardless of quality. There's nothing like a circumaural headphone.

Great Headphones
I was looking for a decent set of headphones for not a lot of money. I'm not an audiophile, but I do use headphones at work. They're comfortable to wear, and sound great to my untrained ear.

Good for the price
These headphones are fairly comfortable and good for the price. Sound quality is good for the average listener, but if you know what to look for these are not for you. They also shipped really fast.

Great unit for older eyes and less nimble fingers...more user friendly.
I've owned the smaller nanos, and at 66 years young, found it a bit tedious.
Great games to download at a very reasonable price..easy to see on the bigger screen than nano, or classic. In color also.
Nice for showing off the family photos, as one can actually see this larger screen with ease.

However, get the 2nd generation itouch if you use a phone line modem.
It's virtually impossible to download the upgrade of software on a phone line.( a charge, by the way )
What upgrade you ask? Well...there is an 'app store' icon that is already on the 2nd generation (and on iphone), but lacking on the first generation itouch. One needs the 'app. store' software to download any games or desired other applications.
I tried for 4 days to download this upgrade via modem, on two different computers, and two different phone lines. It always times out, and must be re-started from the beginning! (no 'resume download' here)
I finally went to the Apple store, and used their Wi-Fi to get it loaded.
Now I love my itouch!
So, for an extra , get the 2nd generation...you'll spend just for the download, and at least in sweat and angst. ;)

Misleading ad
Pay attention to the fact they say Ist Generation, yet don't explain the implications and let you know how it compares with current product. Be aware that a brand new (as of 11-28-08) 16 gig off Apple's website is normally 9. The 32 Gig model is 9. Don't waste your money. Shame on you Amazon for not showing stronger ethics. It is not enough to just print that it is first generation in my opinion. By the way, Apple is also having a one day sale on various items including this one...

Almost as good as an iPhone...
The Apple iPod Touch is a fantastic product, utilizing the new touch screen features that seem to wow the iPhone crowd. I received the new iPod Touch as a gift this August, and I have been using it everyday since. I use it to play my iTunes music, write my to-do list, sync my Outlook calendar and contacts, send and check e-mail, and browse the internet. However, I cannot make nor receive phone calls. That is the one function my iPod is missing, and I regret having to reach into my bag, pull out my cell phone, and put my iPod away.
I find my new gadget very easy to use and very reliable, but I find myself wishing for an iPhone instead. I would rather not have two gadgets when they could very easily be rolled into one. Also, I have found that I must pay .99 to download the new Apps Store from iTunes, while my iPhone-using friends can download it for free. So, to download the free applications that iTunes has to offer for my iPod, I must pay an initial set-up fee. This has deterred me from making the purchase. I am not that desperate to play games that I am willing to pay for them. Another thing that deters me is the wireless internet situation. As a college student, I can secure wireless internet on my campus and in my house, but I cannot get it while walking down the street or while riding in the car. Since I am not using an AT&T service, I cannot utilize the Edge network, and that makes connectivity slightly frustrating. Connecting is also not automatic, so I must manually connect to a wireless network of choice before I can surf the Web or check my e-mail.
So, now that the holidays are fast approaching, I find myself hoping for an iPhone. I would gladly put my iPod Touch away to gain more convenience and connectivity.

Just amazing, best piece of technology out there to date! Apple continues to pioneer the way with their technology such as this one.

Samsung 650 lcd tv
Love this tv. Great picture, enough inputs, does just what I needed to handle digital photos as well. Only bought it a month ago, and no problems at all so far. Delivery was prompt, set was put on the base, the only problem was that the bottom of the box was very dirty, requiring local cleaning of our carpet. Didn't realize how dirty till the box was moved after opening.

Blown away
This is the first HDTV I've ever bought, and I'm utterly stunned at how beautiful 1080i and 1080p feeds are. My primary uses for the TV were originally just going to be gaming (xbox360) and watching Blu-Ray movies, but after seeing the local news broadcast in HD, I called up my cable company and ordered an HD-DVR and HD cable because of how amazing it looks. After seeing the Georgia Tech football game in HD, it convinced me even more.

I really like the wealth of options you can change, although I found the picture settings to be perfect right out of the box. I find myself switching AutoMotion+ on and off pretty frequently depending on what I'm doing - for normal TV and movies it looks really fake, so I turn it off, but for sports and video games it looks amazing, so that's really the only time I ever put it on (I put it at medium, sometimes the screen gets a little choppy when I put it on high... not sure if it's just my eyes playing tricks or if it's an issue with the TV).

It's true, the remote is a little lame, but the remote that comes with the Samsung BD-P1500 works well with the TV and is a little better designed for basic tasks. I mean, I bought the TV for the picture, not the remote. No big deal.

The speakers are surprisingly good. I turned on the TruSurround feature and I'm very pleased. Of course, it can't compete with a dedicated home theater setup, but it will tide me over nicely until I decide on which HT system to buy down the road.

As for the reflection issues, I have two large windows with direct sunlight that shine onto my TV screen, and while I can see a perfect reflection on the screen when the TV is off, when the TV is on the picture is so bright and vibrant that you seriously don't see any reflections at all. The exception is when you are watching something with lots of dark colors - then you can see the reflections, but it really isn't bad enough to bother me at all.

The black levels on this TV are --AMAZING--. The deepest blacks are just as dark as the bezel around the screen, and the sheer amount of black shades this TV can produce is mindboggling... it's light years ahead of other LCDs. I watched Sunshine on Blu-Ray and the frequent space shots (it's a sci-fi movie) were incredibly realistic because of how perfect the black levels were. It's great for gaming, too - I played Dead Space on xbox360 for a few hours and there are frequent times when the lights go out and lighting is minimal. On my computer's LCD screen (a Hanns-G 22 incher) I could barely see anything because of how bad the black levels used to be, but on this Samsung I can see everything perfectly without any of the washed-out black levels I was used to on the other screen. Simply beautiful.

The touch-of-color looks cool when the TV is off, but I never even notice it unless I'm consciously looking for it. It's a purely aesthetic thing, and it adds to the glossy beauty of the screen and bezel.

Connectivity is perfectly adequate, and it's very easy to navigate inputs. No cons here.

My only true complaint about this TV isn't even confined to just this TV - it's more so for all HDTVs. This is my first HDTV, and I was worried when I kept reading that non-HD (standard definition) broadcasts look bad on HDTVs. Well, they were right. Regular cable channels look really bad on HDTVs, but HD cable channels are unbelievably pretty. It's kind of strange how bad some of the non-HD cable channels look, but I can say that as bad as they look on this Samsung, they actually look better on here than on any other HDTV I researched. I looked at a Polaroid and a Phillips LCD HDTV with non-HD cable broadcasts and it was truly unbearably bad. With this Samsung, it's only slightly disappointing. So, while it's a con, this TV actually does it better than the other ones I've seen. The only thing that can slightly rectify some of the poor standard-def quality issues is changing the aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3. It looks smaller, obviously, but sometimes it makes a difference.

All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with this TV. It's truly beautiful, and I am so glad I waited to pull the trigger long enough to grab a TV like the LN46A650. Blu-Ray and Xbox360 have never looked so amazing, and Amazon had the cheapest price hands down (it's cheap to begin with here, but the free 0 Blu-Ray player was the icing on the cake).

Great TV, great price, great transaction
Fantastic TV with excellent picture quality. I know some people are concerned about the touch of red but I don't even notice it. If I were to have any complaints about the TV it would be the remote. The wheel to navigate around the menu can be annoying but that would be my only complaint.

Samsung
We were a bit concerned with the "touch of red" shown as the color of the frame, it looks black and doesn't cause any clash with our interiors. The television itself has an absolutely beautiful picture and was well worth the investment.

I'd like to take this opportunity to sing the praises of this TV and Amazon.com.

A little background first, I previously owned a Westinghouse 42" 1080P LCD TV (LVM42W2) that was plagued with vertical banding issues (sometimes referred to as uneven back-lighting) where vertical areas of the screen were slightly darker or lighter than the rest of the screen, and which were particularly visible during dark or gray scenes. Even worse, after 2 years these bands eventually developed into even more visible dark streaks. Eventually I had enough and started looking for a new TV. Plasma burn-in still scares me so I stuck with LCD's.

I bought the Samsung LN46A650 and when it arrived I immediately started feeding it dark scenes and looking for anything resembling vertical banding, and I am extremely happy to report that this TV has none. It's been a week now and the more I watch this TV, the more satisfied I am with it. The picture is great, even standard definition (SD) content looks very good (SD content was terrible on my old Westy). XBox 360 games look great and run smooth as well. The viewing angle is very good with a minimum of color wash-out even at extreme angles.

A couple of notes, you'll want to go ahead and turn off Auto-Motion Plus (AMP). It's kind of a gimmicky concept in the first place, but it really only succeeds and making things look strange. And by strange, I mean movies start to look like live-action plays or like they were shot with a home-video camera. I imagine some people will like this, but it's not for me, and I just turn it off.

I've read other people griping about the remote, but to me that's so minor that it's almost not worth discussing. It works well enough, and I use a universal remote anyway so it's non-issue.

I've also read some comments on the reddish "Touch of Color", but it's very subtle, and really, hardly noticeable, and thus also a non-issue.

The one legitimate complaint is this LCD's reflectiveness. It is extremely glossy, and, depending on how you have your room situated (i.e. windows, lights, and lamps), it could take on a mirror-like appearance and be a major issue. Fortunately, it's not an issue for me and my apartment. But I could definitely see other people hating this TV for this issue alone.

Now here's where I'm going to sing Amazon's praises. A week after I bought this TV, I saw a forum posting where someone mentioned that Amazon was now offering a free Blu-ray player with a purchase of this TV. I took a look and sure enough they were...so I sent Amazon an email asking if I could get that deal as well. It seemed like a long shot because I had already bought the TV, and I was essentially asking them to give me a free Blu-ray player, but Amazon said they'd do it. So I placed a second order for the Blu-ray player and they refunded my money. So I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Very Good, But NOT ALL THAT
I got these having never heard them, but after reading amazing review after review. I'm a professional musician with three degrees in music. I own three stereo systems - worth 1K 3K and 10K. I also have a pair of THX certified speakers for my desktop computer.

These speakers look nice and sound very good at moderate levels. They don't hold a candle to my pair of computer speakers with a sub when I listen to anything recorded since 1975 except classical solo instrumental and vocal recordings. They sound MUCH better than on my other speakers. Truly, they sound amazing when listening to that and they are very convenient to play with my Ipod. I brought them to our shore house this summer and had access to great quality music in the house the entire time we vacationed. BUT . .

They are not audiophile quality speakers for pop/rock/video or other modern music. They make Eric Satie and Ella Fitzgerald recordings come alive compared to other compact mp3 speakers, but they don't come close to my MA RS6's, so other reviewers saying they beat their 00 systems need to buy better equipment!

Recommended highly, but for a specific audience.

solid speakers
I have had these for about a year now. One speaker had problems and like the other reviewer said, the customer service was an amazingly good experience. I was sent a speaker immediately. These speakers are very nice, and very well priced.

When off these speakers are silent, when on, they have a very pleasing sound. I just ordered 2 more pairs for my livingroom and bedroom. I simply enjoy listening to these with all types of media.

Excellent but one gotcha
Generally excellent product all the way round. NICE packing, a comprehensive set of cables etc. Plays loud and clean. Shocking good imaging even on my asymetric cluttered desk. Sound very non fatiguging. Very slight nasal honkiness-small amount of loose fill in port fixed it.Probably caused by reflection of port off back wall. Have only one complaint-the advertised "subwoofer jack" is no such thing.. its a non adjustable full range "line out" meaning the sub stays at the same volume no matter what the front panel knob is set at. Support was responsive but only said that you have to use the input source level control as volume and could not use the front of speaker control if you want use a sub.

Great speakers and Customer Service
I bought a pair of the A5s two months ago, after reading the many rave reviews here. Alas, two nights ago, one of the speakers stopped working - at least the woofer did. I envisioned the usual nightmare of having to ship it somewhere for a repair.

I phoned AudioEngine's tech support line. I was surprised and gratified when the friendly fellow I spoke to told me they would ship a replacement speaker out to me immediately, and include a UPS label to send them the broken speaker at no cost to me. But he also suggested that I call the retailer who sold them to me - Westworld Computers in Vancouver, BC.

To my immense relief, I was told to bring the broken one into the store to receive an immediate replacement. I live a few blocks from Westworld.

The end of the story: I had a new speaker back in my livingroom within 15 minutes, working perfectly.

Although it was disappointing to have one break, this is the best customer service that I can imagine. That, on top of the speakers' sound quality, makes them an excellent buy!

Watch Out or You'll be Hooked Too!
Absolutely fantastic! I've connected these to my PS3 and use them for music, movies, and games. These are really the only speakers I've seen for less than 00 that still let you feel like an audiophile. The only thing is, now my 128 and 192 kbps mp3 files aren't good enough. These little beauties really let you hear all the little digital compression found in these smaller file types. I've found myself buying more blu-ray movies and super audio discs to show them off to my friends and myself. My brother spent 0 on some studio-reference monitors and wishes he had come across these! Great for live jazz recordings (think Horace Silver and Wynton Marsalis).
